In 24 years of writing, few topics have escaped my pen. I have received recognition for environmental reporting, helped land a $500,000 grant to launch a medical tourism program, conducted interviews while kayaking, and convinced hundreds of people – from farmers to philanthropists – to share their stories. After more than two decades as a freelancer, I’ve turned my attention to my first and most enduring literary love: creative nonfiction. My essays have appeared in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, House Beautiful, Adelaide Literary Magazine, Frazzled Lit, and other publications.
