Experience You Can Trust

My writing career began as a small-town reporter, progressed to editorial management of four magazines, and eventually to copywriting for corporate clients. I have provided onsite editorial support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, hospitals, colleges, and universities.
In 20-plus years of freelance writing, few topics have escaped my pen. I’ve received awards for environmental reporting and travel writing, helped land a $500,000 grant to launch a medical tourism program, conducted interviews while kayaking, and convinced hundreds of people – from farmers to philanthropists – to share their stories. Whether writing about end-of-life issues or a light-hearted travel story on America’s Seaplane City – every assignment receives my respectful, inquisitive approach. My writing has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, U.S. News & World Report, Baltimore Sun, Los Angeles Times, Orlando Sentinel, AAA Southern Traveler, and others. When not writing for publications, I create marketing and consumer education content for corporate and nonprofit clients.
Combining research, persistence, and creativity, I uncover the unique angle that elevates a destination or organization above today’s avalanche of information.
